We ordered a take away Biryani. While the restaurant told us the Biryani was ready in 5 min, the food tasted very bad and undercooked. To the chefs- please take more time, but serve good food on the platter.P.S- I called them to provide feedback and the owner clearly said- “ We have been in the business for 4 years. Go ahead and raise complaint to Ministry of Health”. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

We went to check out Pawans Indian Kitchen because we happened to be in the area and it had great reviews. Like others have said, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and served in generous portion sizes. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. Happily they also had a vegan section to the menu which made ordering easy. We will be back!

A staple for both dinner and lunch in North Vancouver. The food quality is excellent and the service is great.The lunch thali is great value and there are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.You can’t go wrong with the curries and dinner options. The lamb biryani is incredible, as are the rogan josh, and vindaloos.Great authentic naan as well.

Best Indian food in Vancouver. Met with the chef Mr Pawan. He is a very sincere person. Food quality is top notch. Highly highly recommend!

This place officially became my favourite take out place. I used to order from fusion place up the street but they kept sending burnt Naam and stale rice so I decided to try Pawans. The rice is super fresh, Naam perfect cooked, no burnts, and they give you a free side (Naam or rice) and extra 10% off for take out orders. Much better deal and better food. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I decided to stop in after reading all the great reviews. The staff was very nice and attentive. I ordered the chicken biryani and I have to say it might be the best I've ever had. I will definitely be back soon.

Missed the thali experience by whiskers as they close the thali order by 3PM. Looked promising and inviting on my neighbours table. Ordered Biriyani,pulao and jeera rice. The papadi chat was tasty and made well. The peas pulav was slightly greasy, nevertheless tasty. The pricing is good and the staff treated us well. Would definitely come back here. There is ample street parking for an hour so make sure you plan accordingly.

Portion sizes are large. A bit too much sauce but a tasty meal all the same. Samosas are great as is the tandoori chicken and the curried goat didnt have too much bone.

Their food is so tasty. This restaurant is a gem in the north Vancouver. Paneer pakoras were so soft. Never had such pakoras. Naans were so soft and fresh. Dishes were so delicious. Kudoos to Jordan!! Managing it really well, keep it upThanks!!

I go to this great spot often! This is the best place to dine. I go to this spot regularly. The food is of high quality, the staff is professional and the prices are fair. I enjoy going in this spot for a tasty meal.

Great Indian food, reasonable prices. Big portions for entrees.The Curry Chicken was excellent and Palak Paneer is a must-try.

The chicken in the chicken breyani does not seem to be well marinated at all and slightly undercooked.the spice pallet in this meal is very basic and bland to be honest - much work needed before it can be called traditional Indian breyani.Only two visible ingredients- rice and chicken, no pulses,onion and minimal jeera.On the plus side- the gentleman on the phone was friendly and the order was hot and ready for pick-up.

The staff was nice and the food was good. They had a vegan menu, which my girlfriend appreciated. The price is comparable to other indian places. Food was good. Girlfriend said she preferred it to our regular indian place. The jury is out for me, but no complaints.

Great food and excellent service. I had a large order for a party yesterday and the restaurant prepared food excellently and packed it efficiently, which was great.

Better butter chicken in surrey. But great price for what you get. I got the non-veg lunch special with butter chicken for approx. $11.

Fantastic spot. We stopped in for a bit of lunch. Combo lunch specials we're delicious and quite inexpensive. Naan was some of the best I've had. Service was also great.

Awesome... I only ever had Indian food twice prior to this back in Calgary. Both times I didn’t like it. After researching restaurants here in North Van with vegan options, I decided to give this a shot. It was delicious! Left feeling full, happy and satisfied. I highly recommend this place.

Great food! Love the variety offered by their menu. Also rice or naan is included with a curry dish which is great. Fast delivery too.

I haven’t ever dined in the restaurant but the food I have gotten here is always great. A lot of times when restaurants deliver they give stingy portions compared to the restaurant but they sure give you plenty of food. I’m also not the most tolerant of spice and I struggle with getting a good flavourful taste a lot of times. This food even in the mild form is flavoured very nicely and not bland at all. They know how to season it for even the weaklings like myself and still make it enjoyable. Delivery is always fast too which I like!

Visiting Vancouver and decided to try this place for the first time today, as I love Indian food and I had heard from a friend to try this place.We went for lunch and had their lunch menu and I gotta say it was great! The quality, taste, freshness and variety that is served is wonderful. The environment is clean and cozy, and the service is also very friendly and professional. A definite go to place for Indian food!Well done!
